Toplanding Privacy Notice

Toplanding Productions/Handmade by Sue Jenkins is only a very small business but we want you to be able to visit our website without worrying about whether we are collecting information about you without your permission.

So this is what you need to know about your rights to privacy when visiting our website.

As a result of you paying a visit to, we do not collect any personal information about you, however we do use Cookies so we want to tell you about them and show you how to stop them should you want to.

Without wanting to bore you too much with the detail, Cookies are small data text files which are sent from our computer to yours when you’re looking at our website. Cookies are typically stored on your (and other visitor’s) computer hard drive and tell us for example, how many people are visiting the site, which pages are the most popular or what search engine they’ve used  to find us.

Whilst this might sound a bit ‘Big Brother’ (not the TV programme), it’s all completely anonymous so we can’t tell that it’s you who has visited our site i.e. your name, email address or anything else, we just collect statistics which let us know which bits of the site are popular or which blogs have been read the most or which words have been used in a search engine to find our site. These statistics help us to improve the site and make it more interesting, which hopefully means you’ll come back.

However, we understand that you still might not want this to happen so if you’d prefer to restrict, block or delete cookies from, or any other Website, you can use your browser to do this. Each browser is different, so check the ‘Help’ or settings menu of your particular browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences.

You can find more information about cookies and how to restrict, block and delete them at

If you’ve read this far, it’s clear that you value your privacy, and so do we. So the final thing to let you know are the names of the cookies that are used.

The tool we use  is Google Analytics which places the following cookies on your computer.

These may not mean a great deal to you (don’t worry they don’t much to us either) but as we’ve mentioned  earlier they help us collect anonymous data about your visit which is amalgamated with that of other visitors so we can better understand how people use our website.

If you’re concerned how Google use this data you can view Google’s privacy policy:

Or you can opt out of Google Analytics from every site you visit by installing a plugin into your browser which can be found here:
