Stumps Sleeveless Pullover Pattern – 12-18 months (PDF download)
Description
I’m always inspired by village cricket matches and the array of home-made cable sweaters on show. Why not have a baby version!?
Sleeveless sweaters are a great baby basic and this pattern creates stretchy, roomy neck and arm openings for easy dressing – perfect for babies.
The neckband, although worked back and forth, requires double pointed needles – or a circular needle if you prefer.
It is knitted in lovely soft Drops Merino DK, but would work for many DK quality yarns. If you use a different yarn, please check your tension.
The pattern is suitable for an experienced knitter.
Full Instructions using 4mm needles, 4mm double pointed needles (or a circular needle), a cable needle and stitch holder.
The size is quite generous:
3-6 months (approximately) – chest 48cm; length 28cm (actual measurements) and uses 2 x 50g balls of Drops Merino DK. If you use a different yarn, better to be safe than sorry and allow 3 balls of 50g to make sure you have enough yarn.
