Amble Pullover Pattern – 12-18 months (PDF download)
Description
Childhood trips to Amble in Northumberland inspired this design. We always had a cosy jumper to ward off the wind blowing in from the North Sea. This version is designed with young ones in mind – generous fit for easy dressing with larger armholes and comfortable neckline and knitted in lightweight soft cotton and cashmere yarn.
It is knitted in the gorgeous Pascuali cotton and cashmere ‘Sole’ yarn, available in a wide range of colours and beautifully soft. If you use a different yarn, please check your tension and allow for an additional ball of yarn.
The pattern is suitable for an experienced knitter.
Full Instructions using 3.5mm needles, a cable needle and stitch holders.
The size is quite generous:
12-18 months (approximately) – chest 62cm; length 32cm, sleeves 20cm (actual measurements) and uses 3 x 50g balls of Pascuali’s Sole yarn, almost exactly. If you use a different yarn or your tension is loose, better to be safe than sorry and start with 4 balls of 50g to make sure you have enough yarn.
