Gansey Pullover Knitting Pattern (pdf download)

Gansey Pullover Pattern – 12-18 months (PDF download)

Trips to Cornwall and Guernsey inspired me to design this mini-size fisherman’s jumper using cables, moss stitch and stocking stitch. It is designed and knitted in the traditional way – in the round using 4 double pointed needles – and seamless, which is perfect for babies.

It is knitted in the most delightful cotton and cashmere combination – Pascuali’s Sole yarn, available in a wide range of colours and beautifully soft. Three balls are enough to knit this pattern. If you choose to use a different yarn, please check your tension and allow for additional yarn.

The pattern is suitable for an experienced knitter.

Full Instructions using 3.5mm needles, 3.5mm double pointed needles, a cable needle and stitch holders.

The size is quite generous:
12-18 months (approximately) – chest 62cm; length 32cm, sleeves 18cm (actual measurements)

Skill Level – Experienced Knitter
